CFO Position


This position provides overall strategic and operational direction to the company’s finance office and treasury division. You would understand and handle finance as a commodity getting back more than was invested resulting in increased income, profits, expansion and reserves. You would need to know Cost Accounting cold and how to figure out the costs for producing each product of the company. You would also need to be able to predict and plan for company expansion, and the future adequacy of staff and facilities.

The position assists the CEO in establishing financial strategic objectives as well as financial operating policies and procedures to ensure attainment of corporate objectives. You would evaluate results within business units to determine if financial objectives are being met. You would ensure financial policies are being implemented and followed to the result of increased profit, expansion and reserves and where you find policy out, you would do an inspection and correction function to get it in.

The CFO would be responsible for maintaining relationships with banks, investment funds and other financial institutions. The CFO would help improve the business model of the company by providing information and recommendations to the CEO on profitability by product, sales channel and business unit. The CFO, in liaison with Marketing and Research & Development executives, would develop hurdle rates for minimum ROI (return on investment) on R&D and marketing spending. (For example, if Diskeeper Corporation is going to invest in VERISON X of our Diskeeper Software product in the development area, the CFO should coordinate the budget for the new version including the development as well as the promotional spending, the revenue plan and the expected profit contribution from that). The same is needed for a new product.

The CFO would assist the various stakeholders in working out the market opportunity, the cost of developing the new technology, the required marketing budget to ensure that the product isn’t undersold. In other words the CFO understands the microeconomics of the business.

PRODUCT TESTING OFFICER

This person does functional, reliability and performance testing. Creates tests strategies and tests plans. Should have at least 3 years experience testing in a Windows environment.

Requirements:

INSTALLSHIELD / RELEASE TECHNICIAN – WINDOWS

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Installshield expert for our current and future product lines. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency with the software product release process.

Requirements:

  • •  2 plus years experience with Installshield on Windows platform, and use of it in last or current job

Requirements:

SENIOR BUILD RELEASE ENGINEER

Create MSI and Install Script Installation packages for different Diskeeper versions.  Responsible for automating the build process.  Make Diskeeper installations Vista Logo Certified using Installshield 2.0.  Update the scripts from Installshield 9.0 to 11.5.  Develop the installations in 10 different languages.  Create the patches and updates as and when required.  Interact with the customer services team in resolving any installation issues.  Write test cases and run the test cases for different applications.  Develop testing applications to automate the regression testing.  Write scripts for installations.  Review test assignments, develop test plans and scripts and conduct the tests as assigned. Responsible for the change management and new requirement document process. Conduct Systems testing and integration testing.  Execute complex SQL queries to query the database for data validation.

Senior Technical Support Manager for Diskeeper Corporation China

Diskeeper Corporation has a career opportunity in its Hong Kong office. This position provides DKCC business partners and large volume license customers with technical product advice and demo support during pre-sales discussions. The candidate should be able to solve highly complex sales support problems, answer prospects’ and salespersons’ detailed product questions, prepare and perform detailed product demonstrations and product prototypes for prospects. They may be called upon to provide installation support and post-sales consulting and support. The ideal candidate will have a high level of responsibility in supporting our business partners’ needs. The candidate must speak fluent English and Mandarin, as well as read and write both languages.

Knowledge of the following is required: Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 2000/2003 Server with an emphasis on software installation, network communications, and overall system performance.

The position is located in our Hong Kong office. The candidate will be required to train at the Diskeeper Corporation headquarters located in the United States – Burbank, California for a period of approximately 2 months.

Salary range is 35,000 to 50,000 Hong Kong dollars per month, depending on qualifications and experience. Must have legal requirements in to work in Hong Kong.
